I was trying to follow the law, I went to the Code Enforcement Officer for information.
He lied to me (by omission) that my maintenance person could do the work.
He misrepresented himself saying that HE had authority to make commercial plumbing requirements (that I did not need) and to inspect a commercial plumbing installation.
He also told me that if I did not use a state licensed roofer (at 100 times the cost) that he would shut down my business and fine me $5000.00 per day and $5000.00 each time I got up on my roof.
The ONLY thing I need a State Licensed Commercial Roofer for is to lay the shingles or metal.
What I got was lies and GROSS OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT.
Why would you do this?
According to the state, He is NOT a licensed plumber and is NOT a licensed inspector.
DO NOT trust these people for anything.
I should be suing you and the city. I still might.
All Business Owners should talk to the State Inspectors for accurate answers.

I can also get on my roof to inspect it, clear away debris, and work on other equipment.
