Came in to get my ear flushed. I came in at 12 am it is now 12:45 am and I'm still in the waiting room. No one has came out to see why I'm here or anything. All I want to do is hear out of my damn ear.

I went to the ER on the 25th of Sep. they only had 1 dr. there I waited for over 1&1/2 hours and still no help durring that time I tried to be nice utill I couldn't take it aymore, and then started to get a little vioisterous and demanded to see someone that was in charge it still took a while but after more ranting and raving finaly I was put in one of the cubical's, which I am sure was to get me away from the general plublic, because by then 2 coustemers left, one young lady with a badly bleedng hand and crying from the pain. After several min. the Dr. came in he was nice but well over worked I have never in my life seen where only 1 Dr. took care of the whole hospital, did I say hospital sorry about that I ment first aid station!!! Never again!!!!

JCH has come a long way. I had a son get a CT scan recently and I had x-rays as well. They did a fine job.

One of the main problem that they have in Jerseyville is that they have a monopoly on everything, it's all JCHC, trying to look big but all they do is make it worst. What a joke I have more respect for my dog than they do human's. I could go on but don't want to waste anymore energy.

On 06/28/2017 I had several tests done. from admitting, through ambulatory surgery and in surgery department. Every staff member I encountered were nothing but professional, respectful and caring. Jersey county has a hidden gem sitting right here. I have worked in many hospitals through my career. I have to say we in Jersey county are very fortunate to have this little gem here. As for the negative reviews I have read, pertain to the emergency room only. My experience with ER staff any where I have worked is they have to be tough because they see some of the worst of humanity coming through their doors from gunshots to multiple car accidents to psychotic aggressive patients and to the simple drug seeker. Keep growing Jerseyville Hospital because we need you.

I wouldn't even give it a 1 star but that is as low as they let you go.

Very insensitive to needs. Was looked at and judged like I was some kind of white trash. The nurses where VERY JUDGEMENTAL!!! Was treated like I was faking my pain and was only there trying to get drugs. All because I have tattoos. The doctor (who's name escapes me. A black male doctor) was VERY FRIENDLY, kind, and helpful. I'd give him 4 stars. So 1 half of the 2 stars go to him. The other half star goes to the cleanliness of the hospital.
